Matt became a volunteer years ago as a way of giving back to our town. In 2009, he was elected to the Montville Township Board of Education. He is a 3 term BoE member and served as Vice President for 5 years and is in his second year as President. Whether it?s striving to maintain our award-winning school system or working to enhance our town, Matt cares deeply about preserving the quality of life in Montville, Pine Brook and Towaco. Montville Township has historically been fiscally prudent and Matt, in his work as an elected official, has proven we can maintain first-rate resident services while doing so at a fair cost to taxpayers. Matt?s integrity, dedication, his independent and reasoned approach, and his vision have been evident during his tenure on the BoE. Now more than ever we need a good listener and communicator, a person that understands how to work with the public, and has experience as an elected leader in town. Matt is the candidate that will continue to make smart, prudent decisions on behalf of the taxpayer so that years from now, our children and future generations can enjoy this town that we all know and love.

I have been a Montville Township resident for over 50 years. My husband Craig and I have two grown children, Karl and Michelle. I recently retired after 21 years as the primary Montville Township High School Nurse. Currently I consult as a forensic nurse for the Morris County Prosecutor's Office which I have done for the past 13 years. I continue to volunteer and represent our community by serving as Second Vice President of the Women's Club, Vice Chairperson of the Montville Township Drug Awareness Council-Municipal Alliance, member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 279, member of the Project Graduation Committee, and member of the Morris County Task Force on Opiates. With a lifelong passion for community service, I am committed to being an active member of the Montville Township Community. While I have never held public office, and certainly would not consider myself a politician, I want to turn my passion into practice and serve our community. I feel that I can provide a fresh and unencumbered approach to many aspects of the Township Committee's roles.
