The MTRC has been awarding two $1000 scholarships annually for many years. The scholarship is open to all current graduating high school seniors who are residents of Montville Township  and who demonstrate a commitment to their community, an understanding of the U.S. Government and its philosophies of governance, and who plan on continuing their education or training at a college, university or technical school, or by entering the Military or a Civilian Volunteer Organization.

Through your generosity we hope to provide two or more scholarships once again. Having been through a very trying year where government pretty much controlled every aspect of our living and voting, it is ever more important that Republicans stay involved in our youth. And, to remind our youth of their individual responsibility to know how our government should function for all.

The essays from the students require applicants to argue on either side of a current event of policy issue and relate their discussion to one of the following: The powers of the Executive Branch, the powers of the Legislative Branch, the powers of the Judicial Branch, Separation of Powers, and/or the U.S. Constitution.

Thank you for supporting the MTRC Scholarship Fund.
